PLGP Festival has a new home: Saturday, July 21, 3pm – 10pm

The highlight of annual Portland Latino Gay Pride Celebration, has a new home: PLGP Festival, Saturday, July 21, 3pm – 10pm, Pure Space, 1315 NW Overton, Portland, OR. With 20ft windows, 10,000 square feet and transformed to a CARNAVAL, this is something you can’t miss.

DeMarco DJ and DJ Digo will keep things moving and festival stage will include special performances by Ballet Folklorico Mexico en la Piel, Bloco Alegria Rio Samba Band, UnderU4Men Fashion Show and Poder Latino Rey and Reynas. Festival Emcees will be Tryniti and Enrique Andrade and welcoming everyone will be special guests Oregon Treasurer Ted Wheeler and Secretary of State Kate Brown.

25 Exhibitors will have information, resources and opportunities you need to check out. Vibrant Table Catering has prepared special latin cuisine options to buy (including tamales, enchiladas, and oaxacan pulled pork) and a No-host Full Bar with Speciality Cocktail, will keep everyone happy.

Doors will open at 3pm, a $5 donation gets you Carnaval Beads/Masks and for those who want special attention, $20 Carnaval VIP Area is for you. A part of all donations and VIP proceeds support PLGP Scholarship Program.
