March with Portland Latino Gay Pride! Sunday, June 20th WE will be leading off the Latino community groups in this year’s PRIDE Parade. We will meet at 10am (location TBA) and Parade starts at 11:30am. Thanks to Pride Northwest for all their work. Visit their website www.pridenw.org to see parade route and line-up. Boxxes will be our host for La Lucha Dance Party, 7pm - 9pm, VIP reception, 9pm General Admission ($5.00). No speeches or long program, just dancing, go-go luchador dancers and fun.
Saturday afternoon, join Charlie Vazquez & Charlie Rice Gonzalez as they connect with young people, share their talents and together explore how you “find your voice & speak your truth”. In conjunction with PEN World Voices Festival in New York, Literary Arts and Miracle Theatre Group present Rigoberto González at the Milagro Theatre at 7:30 p.m., Monday, April 26, 2010.
Rigoberto González is the author of eight books, his most recent are the young adult novel The Mariposa Club and a short story collection, Men Without Bliss.
