Rose City Softball Association All Star Charity Game – All Stars VS Portland Police , Saturday, June 14, 11:30am – 3pm, Farragut Park (N. Kerby Avenue & Farragut St) $5.00 suggested donation to benefit Q Center. Police Academy Cadets will be raising money too with food and beverage booth. Look for ME on the field! Ballet Folklorico Lo Nuestro Performance, Saturday, June 14, 7pm, Forest Grove High School, 1401 Nichols Lane, Forest Grove OR 97116. Free Admission/Donations Accepted. They were a crowd favorite at the Portland Latino Gay Pride Festival, don’t miss out!
Pride NW – Bring it! Festival and Parade, June 14th – 15th, Make sure to stop by the Festival at Waterfront Park. Many of our Portland Latino Gay Pride Sponsors will be set up in the festival, including our own Melanielove.com who is sharing the Just Out Booth. Portland Latino Gay Pride 2008 – Papis y Chicas has officially come to a close and it’s time to say MUCHAS GRACIAS!
We took a chance, expanding from one day to four days. To make it happen we brought on new partners and sponsors, created an amazing website and had incredible posters & graphics. We instituted the Mariposa Awards, honoring incredible leaders and organizations in our community & with Miracle Theatre, featured Daniel Guerrero & his one man show ¡Gaytino! Our Papis Dance Party @ Boxxes was muy caliente. Chicas Who Brunch brought together our community in such a special way and Sunday’s Festival was unforgettable.
Best of all, our diverse community came together! Because of YOU, your attendance, participation and support, we can take pride in our success. Muchas Gracias.
We also need to say thank you to Melanie Davis, Jonath Colon, Isael, Al Munguia, Israel, Jeremy Wilkins, Sheryl Weiler, Dan Pierce, Meesha Peru, Felipe Leon, Tim Krause, Tryniti, Debra Porta, Rafael Arrellano, Gemma Tornero, Enrique Andrade, Alisa Simmons, and David Zambrano. The time, effort, and commitment of these folks should be commended.

Folks from Pride NW, Portland Latino Gay Pride and Portland Black Pride will be there as well as special guest Portland Mayor Tom Potter.
Mayor Potter a long standing ally and supporter of our community will read a proclamation recognizing all the great ways Portland celebrate LGBTQ Pride in the city. Don’t miss out and please RSVP to Debra at president@pridenw.org.
