Joaquin Lopez: Lopez is a musician and songwriter with a passion for producing creative events, including 2011′s Voz Alta event: An evening of music and poetry for Portland Latino Gay Pride. Past work includes producing: Taste of Mexico, Mexican Food Exposition at the Jupiter Hotel, Planeta de los Dinosaurios with Filmusik at the Hollywood Theater. He is also a partner in the catering company Mayhauel featuring chef inspired Mexican cuisine. His bread and butter is working at La Bonita located in the heart of the Alberta District. As an actor he has worked with The Miracle Theater, Oregon Children’s Theater, The Oregon Shakespeare Festival and Dance Gatherere Dance Company.
Los Gallos Rumba Los Gallos Rumba: Los Gallos Rumba hailsfrom
Portland and brings with them the sounds of flamenco music with its rich gypsy and Arabic roots. Their sets are infused with romantic Spanish guitar and cover everything Latin from rumba, to salsa and merengue. Lead singer of the group, Mercedes Estevez, is from Barcelona, Spain, and moved to Portland two years ago. She has family from Jaen, Andalucia – where flamenco music originated – which inspired her to sing starting when she was a child. Estevez also is a songwriter and dancer. She gets everyone fired up with her graceful flamenco inspired movements.

Tryniti LaCroix: Tryniti has been involved with the Portland Latino Gay Community since moving here in 2006. Starting off as a performer, she is proud to be hosting today’s festivities. Tryniti has made her mark here in Portland gay scene winning multiple gay pageants as Miss Gay Portland Latin Look, Miss Gay Oregon Latin Look, La Femme Plus Portland, La Femme Plus International, Miss Gay NW International, and Miss Gay Oregon. She loves giving back to the community in any way possible and is honored to be apart of PLGP.
Lo Nuestro Los Nuestro Ballet Floklorico: The Forest Grove School District Ballet Folklorico “Lo Nuestro,” a Mexican folk dancing group comprised of elementary, middle and high school students as well as community members.
ChiChi N Chonga: ChiChi and Chonga are two delinquents from East L.A. California completing 12,000 hours of community service by touring prisons and Narcotics Anonymous Centers in your area. Using their own previous arrest charges as the basis for motivational speaking, the pair are set to hit 30 cities over the course of the summer in exchange for their supposed freedom. Will they stay focused and out of trouble? Only time will tell.
Under U4 Men “CelebrAccion” Fashion Show: Established in 2006, Portland OR, UnderU4 Men became America’s first “main street” men’s underwear and swimwear boutique. With three stores in the Pacific NW, they have something for everyone. You don’t want to miss Chico/as strutting their stuff and showing off the latest styles to a Latin Beat!
Meesha Peru: Carlos Quezada (aka Meesha Peru) has been a long standing volunteer in the community. For the past 8 years Carlos has been involved with CAMP Starlight, past Emcee for Pride NW Parade and past Hostess of Portland Latino Gay Pride Festival. Bringing to life the infamous Meesha Peru, Carlos has entertained us and inspired us with his generosity and kindness. Lending his personality and talents to various community events and causes, earned him a 2010 Mariposa Award. Past title holder and with a legion of fans, Meesha leaves audiences, wanting more and more…

Adrienne: Affectionately known as “The Largest White Woman in Captivity,” Adreienne is celebrating 21 years in the female impersonation business. Originally from Arizona, Adrienne moved to Portland almost three years ago to expand her horizons and continue her career. No Stranger to the stage, Adrienne has traveled the nation for years not only performing and hosting, but using her knowledge and abilities to help organizations like The Audria M. Edwards Scholarship Fund.

Since moving to the City of Roses, Adrienne has made her mark as Miss Gay Oregon XXXVIII and the reigning LaFemme Magnifique Plus International and loves to  utilize her networking and fundraising skills. Known for her big hair, elaborate costumes and over the top attitude – Adrienne is definately a character! She is also a costume maker & designer, and a pageant promoter. By day, Adrienne’s alter-ego is a professional for an international banking institution.

Kyan Loredo: Born and raised in TX, grew up onstage, staring out in theater at age 9. He was praised by principle actors and musical directors, for his vocal ability and power and knew singing was the path in which he would be most successful. When he was 16, he left acting altogether to pursue a life in music. Later, Kyan moved to Boston and was introduced to the music business by meeting some of the most inspiring and motivational musicians and artists. He now lives in L.A., singing, writing and recording. Kyan Loredo is ready to show the world everything he’s got.
